Our incredible monthly shindig Global Rotations is back for it’s next edition of the year on March 2nd and we cannot wait to get the party started!! 
As always, we dedicate the first hour and half to open decks and love to give the chance to budding DJ’s at any level an invitation to come and play their selections in a welcoming and relaxed environment. 
The carefully curated line up on the night will consist of 3 of our wonderful residents from our dazzling Selextorhood community. 
Zuanella, Lai Power and reli.ah will be gracing the decks on heavy rotation, delivering a mixture of eclectic tunes and taking the audience on a sonic journey, exploring everything from afro beats and latin funk to balearic Italo and cosmic disco.

Zuanella –
Over the years she has performed at established venues across the country, such as AAJA Deptford, Partisan, The Deaf Institute and Hare & Hounds and has featured on line ups alongside the likes of Crazy P, Justin Robertson, and Norman Jay MBE to name a few. Zuanella’s ‘Zealous Patterns’ residency on BLOCK Radio sees her explore a mixture of diverse beats and share a love of fusing sounds old and new. In addition she has been invited onto a number of acknowledged broadcasters across the airwaves such as Soho Radio, Noods, Threads and Melodic Distraction. Her sets are eclectic and aims to keep crowds captivated and anticipated for the next selection, which can range from unknown gems to well loved classics. Expect to hear her drop a unique mixture of cosmic italo disco and balearic beats to keep the crowd elevated and dancing.

Lai Power –
A producer and DJ from Birmingham, they started making music as Lai Power to try and see if they could make live electronic music. They are very inspired by early electronic musicians who managed to operate in the space between DJ and live musician. It’s all about taking those risks and trying to create something new and having a good time! Lai also creates a lot of production these days and tries to release as much as possible without sinking into perfectionist hording. On the night they will be playing future sounds from the ninth dimension and anti-capitalist music for the masses.

reli.ah –
reli.ah started her musical journey in early 2019 and since then has taken to the decks at various iconic Birmingham venues and UK festivals with her own unique brand of multi genre gems to hype up the crowds into a frenzy.
Always interested in experimenting with new tunes be sure to hear a blend of pulsating afro beats and disco to tantalise your ears.

As always it is free entry and we are a safe space, meaning we will not tolerate inappropriate and discriminatory behaviour of any kind. We want all our DJs & the crowd to feel welcome, relaxed in their personal zones when performing & moving within the space. Our aim for every Global Rotations party is to build a warm & harmonious vibe where we all feel uplifted!
