London-based sextet Baby Vanga, signed to Strong Island Recordings, have an eclectic sonic palette that sees them seamlessly fuse influences as diverse as 60’s and 70’s psych, bossa, funk and garage rock, with a healthy sprinkling of vintage adult film music and 70’s cop shows. Baby Vanga yield lustrous and soothing vocals effortlessly relaying their captivating lyrics, which fused with their dynamic instrumentation and penchant for eastern rhythms and unusual time signatures, create a rich and vibrant psychedelic soundscape.

Recording every instrument himself using analogue tape machines and equipment Myles’ musical approach is a breath of fresh air in a largely digital world. Now backed by his band, their live set guarantees to take you on a hazy trip down memory lane.
